Your Impact
The Sr Product Designer drives overall design decisions and leads the tactical design work associated with their assigned product portfolio. This includes responsibility for delivering user flows, user journeys, wireframes, supporting visuals, prototypes, and pixel perfect design comps for their product. The Sr Product Designer works with designers, engineers, product, content designers, researchers, and other user experience (UX) teams to deliver assigned design projects promptly and efficiently and occasionally provides creative approval of work completed by others on the design team.
What You Will Do
- Leads the architect and design of high-quality and engaged experiences for customers and associates.
- Leads multiple design projects within a single product or product group. Assesses user needs for each project, product, and line of business through discovery.
- Utilizes best practices and advanced knowledge to build user flows, wireframes, and design comps and low-fidelity prototypes to ensure products deliver optimal experience.
- Solves complex design problems at the product group level to improve product design.
- Utilizes a variety of architecture, user interface (UI) design, and graphic design skills to best meet varying business needs.
- Leads the delivery of quality, timely deliverables such as presentations, UI elements, wireframes, and production work to leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Ensures effective management of visual and interactive creative assets, develops final solutions, and contributes to the Lowe's Design System to ensure reusability and consistency.
- Partners with UX, development and product teams to maintain a cohesive design and experience throughout the product portfolio.
- Coaches, guides, and mentors more junior level team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in interaction design, graphic design, industrial design, or related field
or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable - 5 years of experience in UX design
