The Role

We're looking for a Recruiter to own and accelerate hiring across all marketing functions. At Verkada, our decentralized recruiting approach will allow you to be immersed in the Marketing team and foster strong partnerships with executives, hiring managers, and individual contributors. You will gain a deep understanding of the team dynamics and develop expertise in the market for all roles.

This role requires proactive sourcing strategies to build pipeline for specialized talent. You will recruit for a variety of roles across the Marketing organization, ranging from Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Engineering, up to Directors.

This position is on-site in San Mateo, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process across our Marketing roles (ie. Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Engineering, Data Scientist, Field Marketing, etc.).
  • Build strong relationships with leaders and hiring managers to define recruiting strategies to develop comprehensive hiring plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing insights and recommendations on market trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices.
  • Continuously refine the recruitment processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Deliver a high-touch, high-quality, and transparent candidate experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful full-cycle recruiting experience at a strategic search firm, a startup or equivalent.
  • Strong ability to influence using data.
  • Proficient in recruiting technologies, ATS (ie. Greenhouse), and sourcing tools.
  • Ability to navigate and push through adversity in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Experience managing multiple internal competing priorities.
  • Commitment to excellence and finding the top 1% of candidates.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for the candidate experience. 

Annual Pay Range

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
