The Role

At Cedar, our Product Marketers develop product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement assets that inspire healthcare prospects and customers across the country.  Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content that creates sales pipeline, and ultimately, new customers.
We are looking for a creative, motivated product marketer to drive and deliver innovative product marketing to support our core product offerings.  In this role, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, client management, and product teams to create messaging, positioning, sales content, GTM plans, and enablement assets.  Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, this highly visible and impactful role will be critical to ensuring sustainable growth for our company.


In this position you will:

  • Create core messaging and product positioning aligned to our customers' and prospects' needs, including defining customer challenges, value propositions, differentiators, and resulting customer benefits
  • Drive creation of innovative & compelling content that can be used by our sales teams including pitch decks, product videos, data sheets, FAQ’s, website pages, playbooks, and more
  • Help our sales teams understand our product and solution narrative through impactful enablement and training 
  • Partner with our demand generation team to drive innovative integrated marketing campaigns which communicate Cedar’s value propositions to customers and prospects to help build a pipeline for our sales teams.
  • Bring products to market with innovative and effective launch plans

What we look for in an ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of relevant marketing and general management background encompassing product marketing, market research, and marketing strategy gained primarily in the software and SaaS industries
  • Mastery of foundational PMM skills – messaging/positioning, GTM strategy, audience segmentation, sales enablement, content creation
  • Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Scrappy, “do-what-it-takes” attitude and a bias for action
  • Excellent people and project leadership skills.  A proven track record launching new products and features
  • Track record of successfully collaborating with and influencing product management, sales, sales ops and marketing teams
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Expertise with Microsoft Powerpoint and Google Slides.  Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Figma
  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated professional equivalent skill
  • Willingness to travel 15%

  • Experience in the healthcare or healthtech industry
  • Experience at a high growth Software-as-a-Service or technology company
  • Advanced degree such as an MBA

Compensation Range and Benefits

  • Salary* in CA, NY, NJ, CT, WA: $170,000 - $200,000
  • Salary* NOT in CA, NY, NJ, CT: $153,000 - $180,000
  • This role is equity eligible
  • This role offers a competitive benefits and wellness package
