Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting
- Develop and maintain sophisticated rolling forecasts to ensure financial visibility
- Lead the annual bottom-up budgeting process, ensuring robust alignment with corporate long-term strategic goals#Create "what-if" models and advanced scenarios to evaluate market volatility, new product launches, or potential M&A activity
- Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Execute rigorous variance reporting by analyzing monthly actuals against budget and forecast to pinpoint key performance drivers
- Establish and monitor critical business health KPIs, including CAC, LTV, Churn Rate, and EBITDA margins, to ensure operational excellence
- Collaborate with department leadership to drive cost optimization by identifying structural inefficiencies and recommending strategic savings
- Data & Technology Integration
- Leverage AI-driven methodologies for predictive trend analysis and streamline recurring reporting workflows via advanced Excel automation
- Architect and manage dynamic dashboards to translate complex datasets into accessible insights for cross-functional partners
- Serve as an ERP steward by executing advanced SQL queries across enterprise systems to extract mission-critical data
- Month End Close & Accrual Management
▪ Work with accounting to review expenses and monthly accrual estimates based on business unit inputs, vendor invoices, and run-rate analysis
▪ Maintain and update the monthly close calendar and prepaid/accrual schedules
▪ Collaborate with business partners to capture late-breaking cost and revenue items prior to hard close
▪ Track and report on accrual-to-actual true-ups each month; refine estimates to improve accuracy over time
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or professional certification (CFA/CPA) is highly desirable.
- 4+ years of progressive, hands-on experience within a corporate FP&A environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel (including VBA and Power Query) with a proven track record of applying financial modeling best practices.
- Strong command of modern data stacks, for predictive financial data science.
