Your Impact
The Sr Analyst, Digital Category Optimization will provide internal and external research and/or benchmarking, review and analyze customer information and other relevant data, conduct analyses, and provide insights and recommendations within assigned area. The Sr Analyst will track, analyze and report on key performance metrics to ensure activities within assigned area are meeting strategic and financial objectives. This role will actively create and execute action plans to completion to address key opportunity areas. The Sr Analyst will serve as a member of a team of peers and help coach and develop less experienced analysts.

What You Will Do
- Provide insights, competitive intelligence and data-driven recommendations to the manager of the assigned area
- Serve as project lead, analyzing a variety of factors to assess business opportunities and create and implement insights-based action plans to solve for identified opportunity areas
- Communicate project plans with partner teams to ensure alignment
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned business unit, acting as a point of contact for merchandising and product teams
- Regularly meet with and present to online and core merchants to deliver insights to guide future strategies, tactics or activities and prioritization of category initiatives
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of best practices within the company, competitors and retail industry. Work with the manager to introduce and disseminate best practices across the organization.
- Conduct analysis of potential opportunities to help inform development of divisional strategy
- Work on problems of diverse scope, prioritizing opportunities across multiple projects
- Act as the voice of the customer for the digital channel with cross-functional partnership with various teams throughout the organization for assigned categories
- Work to close the gap with competitors and/or exceed customer expectations by executing the plan derived from identified business opportunities for a segment of the online business
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 4-5 years of relevant experience
- 2-4 years of experience in eCommerce, omnichannel merchandising or marketing, and/or brand or product management
Preferred Skills/Education
- 1 year of experience using data analytics tools
