Team Overview
As the Senior Advisor, Product Operations Strategy and Delivery, you will report to the Senior Director, Product Operations and Partner Solutions. You will work closely with the Solutions leadership team in Canada to accelerate the product roadmap by improving decision-making through data and analytics. You will be responsible for putting our department management system into practice, helping teams in Canada adopt TransUnion’s Global Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), owning the product roadmap for TransUnion Canada’s delivery channels and enhancing our product monitoring capabilities.This role will require you to work cross-functionally with local stakeholders across Solutions, Enterprise Project Management, Technology to successfully deliver on your primary objectives. You will also work with internal global partners including International Solutions and Product Excellence to implement best practices within TransUnion Canada Solutions. Your work will directly enable faster movement from product ideas to market launch and stable delivery of TransUnion’s products to market and real-time, actionable insights that will drive informed decisions. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
This is an individual contributor role with responsibilities that include the following:
Product Operations Strategy
- Own the roadmap and implementation plan for proactive and real-time product monitoring in Canada
- Use data from Jira, Jira Product Discovery, and other systems to create management-level reporting that supports efficient delivery of the Solutions product roadmap
- Managing and maintaining the departmental operating model including scheduling and leading forums such as daily huddles, team demos, and voice-of-customer sessions
- Serve as the subject matter expert for TransUnion’s Global PDLC in Canada. Work cross-functionally to support adoption of global processes while balancing regional requirements
- Drive ongoing improvements to the departmental operating model and TransUnion’s Global PDLC by identifying and quantifying opportunities that eliminate inefficiencies and improve execution to accelerate product development and launches
- Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners and cross-functional stakeholders to support roadmap governance and prioritization
Product Delivery
- Own the roadmap for TransUnion Canada’s product delivery channels and align with stakeholders across Solutions, Operations, Client Engineering, and Technology to improve the usability, performance, reliability, scalability and revenue generation of the delivery channels
- Evaluate and develop business cases for using TransUnion’s globally developed applications and services, including assessing regional fit, opportunities to enhance current capabilities, and architectural modernization needs
- Support feature definition and prioritization for delivery channels with Product Owners, ensuring roadmap items are connected to measurable business outcomes and customer needs
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support development of internal and external collateral for delivery channels such as training materials, sales toolkits, reporting packages, and other enablement resources

Your experience aligns with the following qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field; MBA is considered an asset
- Experience: 7+ years in product management, product operations or related disciplines with financial services experience preferred
- Leadership: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and guide teams through change
- Presentation Skills: Advanced ability to craft and deliver executive-level presentations
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and experience using data to inform decisions
- Agile Expertise & Certifications: Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, and Lean principles. Agile certifications are considered an asset
- Software: Advanced experience with Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Jira including dashboards and filters is considered an asset
- Product Development: Experience creating and supporting product roadmaps, including governance of the Product Development Life Cycle
The expected pay range for this position is $131,000 - $201,000 annually. The pay information provided for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of expected compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of many factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. In addition, variable compensation is based on applicable company guidance and plan documents as well as performance.
