Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Test Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver / Playwright and Tosca, along with experience in building scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using:
- Selenium WebDriver (Java) / Playwright (TypeScript/Java)
- Tosca (Model-Based Automation)
- Build and enhance automation frameworks such as POM, Data-Driven, Hybrid, and BDD (for Selenium/Playwright-based solutions)
- Develop and execute Tosca test cases (model-based approach) for UI and API automation
- Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with root cause analysis
- Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
- Perform API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, and Tosca API capabilities
- Validate backend data using SQL queries
- Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Maintain automation code using TestNG, Maven, and Git
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve test stability and coverage
Good to Have Skills
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts with Python
- Python scripting basics
- Experience with Tosca distributed execution (DEX) or CI integration
