Job Description:
About the Role:
We are looking for a high-energy Network Solutions Engineer to join our world-class testing team. In this role, you won’t just be "finding bugs"—you’ll be the bridge between engineering and our most strategic customers. You will design complex network topologies, simulate real-world traffic, and leverage AI-driven automation to ensure our releases are rock-solid for global deployment.
What You'll Do:
Solution Strategy: Collaborate with field engineers and customers to dissect complex deployment architectures. Translate these into comprehensive test strategies and real-world use cases.
End-to-End Validation: Build large-scale network topologies to certify software releases, ensuring they meet the high-performance demands of our customer environments.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Drive deep-dive investigations into field issues to identify coverage gaps and prevent future regressions.
Strategic Support: Lead technical Customer POCs (Proof of Concepts), respond to RFPs, and act as the final line of defense for critical customer escalations.
Automation Innovation: Design and maintain modular Python APIs and libraries. Integrate AI-based testing methodologies to improve execution efficiency and predictive analysis.
What You Need To Bring:
Expert Networking Knowledge: Deep understanding of IP fundamentals (ARP, ICMP, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP).
Routing & Switching: Hands-on experience with IP Routing (BGP, OSPF, RIP, MPLS) and Multicast protocols (IGMP, IGMP-Snooping, PIM).
Architectural Depth: Deep understanding of network system architectures, including hardware-software decoupling, line card/chassis interactions, and control plane vs. data plane separation.
Solution Design: Proven ability to understand how diverse networking components integrate to form end-to-end solutions (e.g., Data Center Fabric, ISP Core, or SD-WAN).
Deployment Expertise: Knowledge of real-world deployment models for Service providers, Telco, Cloud provider & DataCenter environments.
Traffic Generation: Proficiency in using industry-standard tools like Spirent or IXIA to simulate high-scale traffic and stress-test protocols.
Advanced Automation: In-depth Python programming skills with experience building modular test automation frameworks from scratch.
Next-Gen Testing: Exposure to AI/ML-based automation techniques to bring intelligent efficiency to the testing lifecycle.
Certifications: While not mandatory, holding a JNCIE or CCIE is a significant advantage and highly preferred.
Keys to Success in This Role:
A problem-solver who enjoys breaking things to understand how to make them better.
A clear communicator who can explain complex technical gaps to both developers and customers.
An automation enthusiast who believes manual testing is a last resort.
