Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Social Advertising Manager to lead and scale our TikTok advertising strategy from our Boston, MA office. This role will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of large-scale TikTok media investments focused on driving efficient new customer acquisition and customer lifetime value.
You will be deeply embedded in TikTok Ads Manager daily - architecting campaign structures, optimizing creative pipelines, leveraging platform automation, and driving performance through algorithm-native best practices. You will apply AI and automation to improve TikTok campaign performance and efficiency. Partnering with Data Science, Analytics, and Creative teams, you'll test and scale smarter bidding strategies, predictive LTV optimization, and high-velocity creative testing. Your focus will be on using data, automation tools, and platform capabilities to make faster decisions, improve CPA and ROAS, and drive long-term customer value.
This marketer brings a deep understanding of TikTok-native creative and a hunger to build and execute best-in-class brand and influencer campaigns that drive cultural relevance and measurable performance. The ideal candidate understands how to win in a fast-moving, creative-first ecosystem and thrives at the intersection of performance media, creative strategy, data science, and emerging AI capabilities.
This role sits within our high-performing, metrics-driven performance marketing team and plays a critical role in scaling Chewy's presence across TikTok's evolving ad formats, commerce integrations, and machine learning optimization systems.
What You'll Do:
  • Own TikTok paid media strategy, planning, execution, and optimization across business units
  • Develop full-funnel TikTok campaign structures leveraging conversion, catalog, app, and upper-funnel objectives
  • Optimize against core KPIs including CPA, ROAS, LTV, and incremental lift
  • Drive creative strategy in partnership with internal creative teams and external partners, ensuring high-volume testing velocity across UGC, Spark Ads, creator content, and performance-native formats
  • Leverage TikTok's algorithmic bidding, audience expansion, and automation tools to maximize performance at scale
  • Execute structured experimentation across creatives, audiences, bid strategies, landing experiences, and app events
  • Monitor product feed health, catalog performance, and commerce integrations to support dynamic product ads and TikTok Shop initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics, Data Science, and Product teams to improve tracking, attribution, incrementality measurement, and performance reporting
  • Analyze performance trends daily and proactively identify optimization and scaling opportunities
  • Collaborate with TikTok platform representatives to beta test emerging ad formats and unlock competitive advantages

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Paid Social, with significant hands-on TikTok Ads experience
  • Proven experience managing large-scale e-commerce TikTok campaigns with direct response objectives
  • Deep understanding of TikTok's ad auction, creative ranking factors, and optimization mechanics
  • Experience scaling creator-driven and UGC-based performance strategies
  • Strong knowledge of conversion tracking, app events, pixel implementation, and mobile measurement partners
  • Experience managing product catalogs, feeds, and dynamic product ads
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort in Excel (basic SQL a plus)
  • Experience working with attribution platforms and incrementality testing methodologies
  • Passion for creative iteration, experimentation frameworks, and algorithm-native optimization
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and independently drive performance roadmaps
  • Experience with Google Analytics (or similar analytics platforms)
  • Position may require travel

The base salary range for this role is $87,000 - $130,000.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
