Job Summary:
The Sr. Technical Product Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for key healthcare technology solutions within GE Healthcare. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, product management skills, and good understanding of the healthcare industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the entire product lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering to development, launch, and post-launch optimization for complex technical products.
Translate market needs, customer feedback, and business objectives into detailed product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
Collaborate closely with engineering and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and inform product strategy.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for products, analyzing data to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and make trade-off decisions based on business value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.
Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned products, providing technical guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Develop and deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and training materials.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development and deployment.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in product management.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred) and experience working with engineering teams.
Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand and articulate the financial impact of product decisions.
