HPE has committed to ambitious climate goals, including reducing Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 70%, reducing Scope 3 emissions by 42% by 2030 (2020 baseline), and achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2040. This role will play a critical part in enabling the data, systems, reporting, and operational programs needed to achieve these targets.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage a small global team supporting sustainability data management, reporting, analytics, and tool development initiatives across HPE Operations.
Drive execution of sustainability reporting and emissions measurement programs across manufacturing, logistics, fulfillment, packaging, supplier operations, and purchased goods & services.
Partner with Digital Transformation and business stakeholders to develop and scale sustainability reporting tools, dashboards, automation capabilities, and data governance processes.
Support development and operationalization of HPE’s sustainability data platforms including carbon measurement, supplier reporting, product carbon footprint (PCF), and operational sustainability tools.
Establish scalable processes for sustainability data collection, validation, governance, and reporting across multiple business units and operational functions.
Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on operational carbon reduction, renewable energy strategy support, energy efficiency, circularity, and supply chain decarbonization.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve transparency, reporting accuracy, and sustainability performance tracking aligned with corporate sustainability commitments.
Translate complex sustainability and operational data into executive-ready insights, business recommendations, and strategic decision-making support.
Manage multiple strategic programs simultaneously while driving alignment across Operations, Corporate Sustainability, DT, Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain organizations.
Support roadmap development for future sustainability capabilities including automation, predictive analytics, digitalization, and enterprise sustainability reporting.
Mentor and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What You Need to Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred in Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, Environmental Management, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in sustainability, supply chain operations, manufacturing operations, logistics, procurement, or enterprise sustainability program management.
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of corporate sustainability reporting, carbon accounting methodologies, Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions measurement, and operational sustainability programs.
  • Experience working across global operations, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, or procurement organizations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs involving data, reporting, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with ability to structure and drive complex initiatives independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and translate technical concepts into business value and operational impact.
  • Experience working with sustainability reporting systems, dashboards, data visualization tools, and enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, drive execution, and influence without direct authority across matrixed organizations.
