About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Northern Europe Solutions Consulting team, supporting enterprise sales of our AI-enabled finance transformation platform, CCH Tagetik.

This role sits at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Sales. You’ll partner with Sales teams to engage senior finance leaders (FDs, CFOs, Group Finance), helping them reimagine and modernise their Finance function across FP&A, Financial Close, and Reporting.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong industry finance background who wants to move into a client-facing, strategic advisory role.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead discovery sessions with customers to understand their finance challenges, processes, and goals
  • Translate business needs into compelling solution narratives and tailored proof-of-concept demonstrations
  • Deliver engaging product demos to senior finance stakeholders, including C-level executives
  • Support the full sales cycle—from early qualification through to deal close—as a trusted finance advisor
  • Contribute to RFPs, RFIs, and ITTs with clear, value-driven responses
  • Continuously refine and enhance demo assets to reflect evolving customer needs and product capabilities
  • Provide feedback from the field to Product and Services teams to help shape roadmap and delivery
  • Partner with Marketing on events, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives

What You Bring

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex finance concepts
  • A structured, analytical, and consultative approach to problem-solving
  • Confidence working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Services, and Partners
  • Understanding of emerging finance technologies, including AI-driven capabilities such as predictive forecasting

Your Experience

  • Extensive experience in industry finance (e.g., FP&A, Financial Close, Reporting, Group/Divisional Finance)
  • Experience in finance transformation or consulting engagements
  • Strong understanding of finance operating models, including planning cycles, close processes, and business partnering
  • Hands-on experience with EPM/CPM systems (implementation, usage, or pre-sales exposure)
  • Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA or equivalent, fully or part-qualified)
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders using value-led storytelling

Nice to Have

  • Experience in operating model design, process improvement, or transformation roadmaps
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Qlik
  • Basic understanding of APIs and system integration concepts

Wolters Kluwer Compensation & Benefits Highlights

The following summarizes recurring compensation and benefits themes identified from responses generated by popular LLMs to common candidate questions about Wolters Kluwer and has not been reviewed or approved by Wolters Kluwer.

  • Leave & Time Off Breadth Time away benefits are positioned as broad, spanning vacation and sick time plus paid holidays and other covered leave types. Paid parental and caregiver leave, bereavement leave, and a volunteer day contribute to a more comprehensive time-off offering.
  • Retirement Support Retirement support is framed as meaningful through access to a 401(k)/retirement plan paired with company matching and additional contribution features in some descriptions. This is reinforced by mentions of profit sharing and other long-term savings-oriented programs.
  • Parental & Family Support Family-oriented support stands out through adoption assistance and paid parental leave provisions. These benefits are described alongside other caregiver supports that extend beyond basic leave categories.
