What you'll do
Set priorities and strategy across production lines, manufacturing sites, and product programs, helping the team focus on the highest-impact opportunities.
Define the operating system for process change, including validation expectations, production readiness gates, and documentation standards that support repeatable, scalable manufacturing.
Drive cross-functional execution on high-impact initiatives, including production ramps, escape prevention, and major engineering change notices (ECNs).
Establish clear standards for process controls, training systems, and escalation paths so teams can identify issues early, respond effectively, and sustain improvements.
Own the process performance narrative: where we are winning, where we are losing, and why — using data, structured problem solving, and manufacturing insight to guide decisions.
Make clear readiness calls for process capability and control at key milestones, balancing speed, quality, and operational risk.
Sponsor complex root cause analyses (RCAs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are effective, verified, and embedded into the way we work.
Develop team capability through mentoring, coaching, and setting the technical bar for process engineering excellence.
What we're looking for
Strong systems thinking and leadership in a high-velocity manufacturing environment, with the ability to connect technical detail to broader operational outcomes.
Ability to build clarity and alignment across many stakeholders, including Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and site teams.
Track record of scaling engineering teams and processes in a production or manufacturing environment.
Strong partnership with Quality on systemic risk, audit strategy, process control, and escape prevention.
Willingness to travel frequently as required, approximately 20%; when you're the right person to be on site to own your change, you're there.

Skills Required
- Proven ownership of complex process systems and factory rollouts
- Ability to set standards for controls, documentation, audits, and readiness
- Define validation strategy and assemble evidence packages for major changes and new processes
- Drive systemic defect reduction through layered controls and early detection
- Lead multi-station process changes across teams and stakeholders
- Mentor engineers and technicians in structured problem solving and process thinking
- Comfortable being accountable for outcomes on the production line
