Build and lead SoFi's enterprise L&D capability
- Define our enterprise learning strategy and build a lean, agile team to deliver it.
- Set clear priorities for where L&D can have the greatest impact.
- Build strong partnerships with learning teams across SoFi, connecting and strengthening the expertise that already exists throughout the company.
Advise the business and build critical capabilities
- Consult on complex learning and performance needs, and identify where learning can meaningfully improve business outcomes.
- Lead learning strategy and experience design for select enterprise and business-critical initiatives, working with subject-matter experts to create learning that drives understanding, skill building, and behavior change.
Shape the enterprise learning experience
- Set the strategy for Workday Learning and SoFi's broader learning ecosystem.
- Establish standards, tools, and best practices that make it easier for teams to create and deliver effective learning with a positive employee experience.
- Shape SoFi's approach to learning content and vendors, making the most of shared investments and bringing in external expertise where needed.
- Use data and learner insights to improve the effectiveness and experience of learning over time.
What you'll need
We're looking for a learning leader who combines strong business judgment, deep learning expertise, and a builder mindset.
You bring:
- Significant L&D experience, including building or transforming an enterprise learning capability.
- Deep expertise in learning strategy and design and a strong understanding of how adults build skills and change behavior.
- Strong consulting skills and the credibility to work with senior leaders on important business and capability needs.
- Experience designing learning in partnership with subject-matter experts across a range of functions.
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills, with the ability to focus a lean team on the work that matters most.
- Experience with enterprise learning technology, content, and vendors, and a strong point of view on what creates a great learner experience.
- Comfort building in ambiguity, moving between strategy and execution, and staying hands-on while leading a team.

SoFi Insights
What We Do
SoFi wasn’t built to be a bank. Or a technology company. We were built for one mission: help people achieve financial independence so they can realize their ambitions. Redefining an entire industry isn’t easy work—and it’s not for the faint of heart. It takes a certain kind of team. People with diverse perspectives and expertise, united by a common sense of purpose. People willing to challenge assumptions but always do the right thing. People proving that innovation and responsibility don’t have to compete, but can come together to create something truly unconventional in the world. For the last eight years, we’ve been charting this new path forward. We call it The SoFi Way. At SoFi, we don’t just talk about culture: we live it. The SoFi Way is how we show up every day, how we make decisions, and how we build for our members, clients, and each other.
