You will lead our Strategy & Corporate Development team and work closely with senior leaders across the organization to drive some of our most important strategic and transformational priorities.
 

About the role

As Senior Director, Strategy & Corporate Development, you will lead Milestone’s work across corporate strategy, strategy execution, corporate development, strategic transformation, and global market and competitive intelligence.

You will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and leaders across the business to develop our strategic direction, provide insights that support key business decisions, and drive strategic and transformational priorities across the organization. You will report to the EVP, Strategy, Communications & Brand.

What makes this role particularly interesting is the combination of strategy, insight, transformation and execution. You will not only help define where Milestone is going, but also play a central role in mobilizing the organization around our priorities and driving the strategic initiatives and transformations that will get us there.
 

What you will do  

•    Lead Milestone’s corporate strategy development and the translation of strategy into clear priorities and execution. 
•    Drive selected strategic and transformational initiatives across the organization, creating alignment, structure and momentum from ambition through execution. 
•    Lead and develop a team of Strategy Managers and Market & Competitive Intelligence Managers, building strong capabilities across strategy, insights and execution. 
•    Own our global market and competitive intelligence agenda, ensuring leaders have relevant insights in-to markets, customers, competitors and industry developments to support strategic decision-making. 
•    Drive the strategic and commercial aspects of M&A, including assessing strategic relevance and fit, evaluating opportunities and leading commercial due diligence. 
•    Partner closely with ELT, SLT and functional leaders on strategic questions, transformation priorities, business opportunities and key decisions. 
•    Strengthen Milestone’s ability to turn strategic choices into action, helping leadership navigate com-plex, cross-functional change and maintain focus on the outcomes that matter most.
 

What you bring

We are looking for someone with:

•    5+ years of top-tier management consulting experience, ideally within strategy, transformation, corporate development or related areas. 
•    Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex markets, competitive dynamics and business models. 
•    Experience leading complex strategic or transformational initiatives across an organization and bringing different functions and stakeholders together around a common outcome. 
•    Experience with M&A and corporate development, particularly strategic assessment and commercial due diligence. 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations and decisions. 
•    Proven leadership experience and the ability to develop and lead a team of experienced professionals. 
•    The confidence and credibility to work closely with senior executives while building strong relationships across different functions and levels of the organization.
