The Role
Managed Services is provided to our R&D customers after they go live with Veeva applications. We aim to be our customers' trusted partners and ensure they leverage the additional value Veeva applications offer. 
 
Our Managed Services Team comprises 90+ consultants in Europe, of which 5+ are in the Safety Team. Due to the rapid growth of our client portfolio, we are growing our team every year and opening many career opportunities for our new and existing employees. Veeva is looking for Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance consultants to join the Managed Services team and support our Vault Safety solution after implementation.
 
As a Safety Consultant, you will support a group of biopharmaceutical customers assigned to you. Your task will be to understand their business processes, provide guidance, discuss Vault changes, and apply all the required configurations. You will also actively collaborate with other teams at Veeva, shape ideas, enhance our delivery model, and work closely with our product management team to communicate the customer’s requirements and meet the evolving needs of the industry.

This is a remote, full-time role with Veeva with occasional travel to the Veeva Hyderabad site. 

What You'll Do

  • Help to keep up to date and implement new features within the Veeva Safety suite
  • Work closely with customer business and IT staff to understand their requirements
  • Think critically to help design the solution your customers request as well as the solution they have not requested but may need
  • Act as customer liaison, managing communication between implementation and maintenance teams, customer stakeholders, and internal Veeva Product teams
  • Guide customers in adopting Vault and industry best practices as part of post-implementation programs focused on the holistic success of the customer
  • Drive change management methodology for our customers switching from on-premises to SaaS solutions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of life sciences industry experience, with the majority of time spent in the Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance domain and experience in a consulting function
  • Knowledge of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance processes and regulations
  • Must have a decent experience writing complex SQL queries on safety data sets
  • Should have worked on implementing safety systems like Aris / Argus / Emperica / Commonwealth / RxLogix / or any home-grown safety system
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and ensure delivery to a high degree of satisfaction
  • Good to have experience building aggregate and analytical reports on safety data set
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have worked in an individual contributor capacity in the previous employments
  • Ability to act with speed to understand business requirements, create corresponding solution designs, and willingness to “roll up your sleeves” to design and deliver Vault Safety
  • Exposure to life sciences compliance and computer systems validation requirements
  • Ability to travel for about ~ 25% of the project time
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Has the right attitude and mindset to work towards customer success

  • Proven track record supporting high impact global system implementation programs as a consultant, business, or IT lead, and/or business sponsor
  • Direct experience with Argus and/or other drug safety applications
  • Life science, computer science, or related degree
  • SaaS/Cloud experience

  • Locality to major life sciences customer hub (Bangalore, IN; Hyderabad, IN)
