As a key part of the HPE strategy, the Hybrid Cloud Ops Software business integrates leading solutions like Ops Ramp, Morpheus, VM Essentials, and Zerto to deliver intelligent, AI-driven operations from edge to cloud. Serving enterprises and service providers, HPE simplifies complexity, accelerates modernization, and delivers measurable results—placing team members at the forefront of innovation in hybrid cloud.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is transforming hybrid IT through the Cloud Ops Suite — an integrated platform combining:
- HPE Morpheus VM Essentials for virtualization and private-cloud management (VMware and HVM),
- HPE Morpheus Enterprise for hybrid-cloud automation and self-service orchestration, and
- HPE OpsRamp for AIOps-driven monitoring and observability.
As a Cloud Ops Suite Architect, you will serve as a hands-on technical expert supporting mid-market customers and channel partners. You will deliver enablement sessions, assist and train partners with proof-of-concepts, and assist partners in positioning and deploying HPE’s Cloud Ops Suite solutions.
This is a field-oriented, high-impact role for a technologist who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments and enjoys combining technical depth with real-world execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel & Partner Enablement
- Train and enable HPE partners on HPE VM Essentials and HPE Morpheus Enterprise.
- Help get strategic partners build, and share demo and lab environments for partner showcases.
- Support partners through all stages of customer POCs — from setup to successful validation.
- Assist in positioning Cloud Ops Suite solutions during partner and customer presentations.
Customer Engagement & POC Execution
- Conduct discovery sessions, technical presentations, and live demos with customers.
- Assist Partner and lead POCs and evaluations focused on VM Essentials and Morpheus Enterprise, helping
- customers migrate or extend from VMware and other hypervisors.
- Collaborate with HPE sales, presales, and product teams to ensure smooth solution hand-off and consistent technical messaging.
Field Readiness & Collaboration
- Provide structured feedback from the field to improve training, content, and tools.
- Share best practices, success stories, and lessons learned to enhance partner readiness.
- Contribute to a collaborative, “startup-style” culture focused on agility, experimentation, and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 4-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or virtualization technologies, ideally in a technical-selling or
- enablement capacity.
- Proven hands-on experience with at least one major hypervisor (VMware ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V).
- Proven experience with private, public, or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, networking, and storage (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, SDS).
- Exposure to automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Industry certifications in virtualization, cloud, or automation (preferred).
- Familiarity with HPE’s hybrid IT portfolio and competitive landscape.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical-selling and presentation abilities; comfortable leading both partner training and customer
- demos.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to mixed audiences.
- Initiative-driven, startup mindset — able to work autonomously, experiment, and adapt quickly in a fast-evolving
- environment.
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of channel ecosystems and partner collaboration models.
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage several concurrent enablement or POC projects.
- Business fluency in Italian/Spanish.
