- Cargill is seeking a seasoned SAPApplication Developerto lead Commercial and Sourcing focused initiatives, across Contract Management, Pricing, Costing, Order to Cash, Digital Customer Experience (Customer portals, Fiori, AI...), Sourcing, Direct and Indirect Procurement in SAP Modules like MM, SD for both functional and technical/configuration. This techno-functional developer role is instrumental in shaping the future of our Specialized Portfolio through strategic deployment and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing solutions.
The Professional, Application Development job builds,maintains,integratesand implements software applications within the organization.The role will be operational in SAPOperationfunctionalitiesbut not limited to SAP.With supervision, this job performs complex software application testing, quality assurance, configuration,installationand support to ensure smooth,stableandtimelyimplementation of new software and updates to installed applications.
Key Accountabilities
- Requirements Solutioning: Attending workshops to capture businessrequirements, analyze gaps, and propose scalable SAP solutions.
- Configuration & Design: Build andmaintaincomplex SAP configurations aligned with business goals(MM,SD).
- Testing & Deployment: Manage functional testing, defect resolution, and deployment of new releases and enhancements.
- UAT & Training Support:Guidebusiness users through User Acceptance Testing and deliver training to Super Users and end users.
- Process Optimization: Advise stakeholders on process improvements and challenge unnecessary customizations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and business leads to ensure alignment and delivery.
- Application Support: Provide expert-level support for SAPOperationsprocesses and integrations with external systems (e.g.TMS, GTS,Plant systems, EDI).
Qualifications
- Minimumrequirementof5-8 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years ormore ofrelevant experience.
- Provenexpertise of 5-8 yearsin SAP MM and/or SD modules.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with ABAP isadvantageousbut notrequired.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
