Salesforce PSA IT Senior Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a PSA Business Analyst at UL Solutions, you will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our global PSA ecosystem. You will design and deliver scalable solutions that support business growth, digital transformation, and our journey toward becoming an AI-enabled, agentic enterprise. Working closely with a global team, you will help ensure we embrace configuration over customization wherever possible.
The IT PSA Senior Business Analyst position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business solutions, supporting day-to-day production issues in the Certinia PSA, assisting Technical Analysts and participating in architecture and design initiatives. This individual will work under direction of an IT Manager or Technical Lead at UL. The individual will adhere to the UL's formal best practices, change management and system development lifecycle. Accountable for the support, design, and execution of deliverable that ensure the project and operational support goals are met. The individual must be self-driven and must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with business stakeholders to analyze, document, and improve Professional Services business processes.
• Lead requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Create current-state and future-state process maps.
• Perform gap analysis and develop recommendations aligned with Certinia PSA best practices.
• Drive process standardization across business units and regions.
• Serve as the functional subject matter expert for Certinia PSA.
• Translate business requirements into scalable functional solutions.
• Configure and support PSA capabilities including:
  • Resource Management
  • Project Management
  • Time & Expense Management
  • Capacity Planning
  • Forecasting
• Recommend platform enhancements that improve efficiency and adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills:

• University Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 5+ years hands-on Deep functional knowledge of Certinia PSA (FinancialForce PSA), consulting experience preferred
• Deep experience with Resource Management, Project Management, Time & Expense Management, Capacity Planning & Forecasting
• Professional Services Operations Knowledge with an understanding of how PSA supports project execution.
• Core understanding on the configurations needed to stand up and enhancement PSA.
• Strong organizational, communication and writing skills
• Agile project management experience a must have
• Ability to adjust to changing priorities and participation in multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a variety of individuals to achieve business outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills for Oracle apps issues.•
• Understanding and practice of IT Governance Controls (ITGC) and IT audit compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certifications preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator Certifications required
• Certinia PSA certification plus experience,
• Experience with DevOps tools, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
