Cisco is seeking an experienced, visionary Sales Business Development Manager to lead the recruitment, onboarding, enablement, and joint Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy development for our expanding Intelligent Workplace Experiences (IWE) ecosystem across India.
In this strategic role, you will bridge the gap between two complementary partner communities: Real Estate & Facilities Design-in Partners (Architects, Master Systems Integrators, Workplace Strategists, and Engineering Consultants) and Cisco Reseller Partners (1-Tier, 2-Tier, and Specialized Solution Providers). You will architect joint business models that embed Cisco smart building, collaboration, networking, and spatial intelligence technologies (such as Cisco Spaces and Fault-Managed Power/PoE) into early-stage architectural building blueprints while enabling resellers to monetize and deploy these integrated solutions at scale.
What You'll Do
1. Partner Recruitment & Ecosystem Expansion
- Identify, target, and recruit high-influence Real Estate, A&E (Architecture & Engineering), and Facilities Design-in firms as well as specialized Cisco Resellers across India.
- Position the Cisco Intelligent Workplace value proposition to C-suite and Practice Leads, establishing formal design-in and co-selling partnership frameworks.
- Expand the pipeline of joint customer opportunities by identifying building renovation, retrofit, and net-new campus real estate initiatives in early design phases.
2. Onboarding, Enablement & Practice Building
- Lead the end-to-end onboarding journey for newly recruited design-in partners and reseller sales/practice teams.
- Drive adoption of Cisco enablement assets, including Black Belt IWE Learning Maps, Black Belt gamification programs, and partner training bootcamps (e.g., Cisco Spaces partner cohorts).
- Equip partner design teams with digital design assets, 3D modeling/VR experience libraries, and blueprint specifications for smart workplace solutions.
3. Joint Go-To-Market (GTM) & Co-Selling Strategy
- Build and execute joint business plans, revenue targets, and co-marketing campaigns that pair Design-in Partners with Cisco Authorized Resellers on active customer projects.
- Facilitate joint account mapping and lead-sharing between design consultants, reseller account executives, and Cisco enterprise/commercial sales teams.
- Drive partner participation in flagship customer events, executive briefings, innovation office tours, and industry showcases (e.g., Corenet, Cisco Live).
4. Business Development & Revenue Acceleration
- Drive qualified pipeline and bookings growth across Cisco Networking, Collaboration (Devices), IoT, and Cisco Spaces.
- Track, analyze, and report on partner-sourced pipeline, design-in win rates, enablement completion, and revenue attainment across the India region.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence
- Partner closely with APJC Partner Leadership, Architecture Specialists, Global Partner Sales (GPS), Product Marketing, and Business Units to remove blockers and accelerate deal velocity.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and advocate for real estate and design partner needs within Cisco product engineering and business units.
