About the role:

FareHarbor, a Booking Holdings company, is looking for a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam. We’re a quickly growing company with a robust product that tens of thousands of people use to run their businesses every day. You will work closely with the FareHarbor Product Team in both San Francisco and Amsterdam to source, aggregate, and prioritise issue reports as well as test new and existing features. Are you ready to bring your strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to our dynamic team?

What you'll do here:

• Triage issue reports from various sources, including internal and external stakeholders
• Design, implement and complete test strategy to ensure product quality
• Work with issue reporters to resolve if there is a new issue, an existing issue, or no issue
• Test new features prior to production release
• Contribute to our test automation effort
• Provide continued feedback throughout all stages of testing

Requirements:

• Have 3+ years manual software testing experience in a professional setting
• Hands-on experience working and implementing automated tests (Cypress)
• Be able to reproduce and document issues in an organized method
• Work methodically, think analytically, solve problems, and pay attention to details
• Be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of internal partners
• Be willing to learn new processes and skills to tackle projects
• Have a proficiency in at least one programming language (Typescript or Javascript).
• Experience with Test Automation Design Patterns
• Experience with Shift Left Testing Approach
• Proven experience with testing and maintaining APIs

The preferred location for the candidate is The Netherlands, relocation is not available for this position.
