Our client is a leading fintech company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
- Develop the QA strategy, framework, and quality assurance processes for both manual and automated testing, ensuring alignment with the Fintech and payment intermediary business model.
- Define test plans, review test cases and testing scenarios, and ensure product quality before release and go-live.
- Lead and develop the QA team through effective task allocation and coaching in financial domain knowledge, risk-based testing, and test automation.
- Perform and lead automation testing across UI, API, and backend systems; develop and maintain automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Test and control financial transaction flows, including issues related to transaction status, reconciliation, refunds, timeouts, retries, and duplicate transactions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with Product, Technology, Risk, and Operations teams to resolve incidents and prevent recurrence.
- Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve QA effectiveness and release quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Senior QA, QA Lead, or Test Lead positions.
- Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in Fintech, Banking, E-wallets, Payment Gateways, or Payment Intermediary services.
- Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, including UI, API, backend, database, batch, and reconciliation testing.
- Proven ability to develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of financial transaction flows, with practical experience in handling transaction failures, production incidents, reconciliation, refunds, and other payment-related issues.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and high-pressure release schedules.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a system-level and risk-based testing mindset.
- Knowledge of financial system security standards such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001 is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop QA teams.
