Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience managing QA or engineering teams in a fast-moving, product-focused environment
- Technically credible across manual testing and test automation; team respects your judgment
- Clear, confident communicator in English (B2 minimum); daily collaboration with global counterparts
- Builds trust quickly, holds people to a high standard, brings out the best in engineers
- A constructive challenger who speaks up in a way that moves things forward
- Comfortable with autonomy and accountable for outcomes
- A plus: experience with test automation frameworks (Python/TypeScript); ISTQB Foundation or equivalent; background in consumer electronics or desktop software QA
