The IPTS Cooling Purchasing Ford Champ will support the procurement and supplier management activities for vehicle cooling and thermal management components. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automotive purchasing while contributing to the successful development and launch of current and future vehicle programs.
What you´ll do:
- Support sourcing and cost management activities for IPTS Cooling commodities to achieve program and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and suppliers to support product development, launch readiness, and issue resolution.
- Analyze supplier quotations, cost breakdowns, and market intelligence to support sourcing recommendations and negotiations.
- Lead and track action items with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of commitments, milestones, and launch requirements.
- Communicate effectively with global teams and suppliers in English, preparing presentations, reports, and executive-ready summaries.
What you´ll need:
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is required to effectively communicate with global teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Supply Chain Management, Business, International Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support business decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated team player with excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills in a fast-paced environment.
