As an PVT Ford Champ you will be responsible of addressing customer concerns from the product standpoint.
This position is within the Underbody and Powertrain systems. UnSE includes components in brakes, steering, power unit, driveline, suspension. Powertrain includes thermal systems, traction battery, control modules and their respective software. PVT Product Engineer works closely together with other areas such as Quality and Manufacturing, Supplier Technical Assistance and Product Development.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Analyze quality performance trends and connected vehicle telemetry data to detect root causes and identify opportunities for vehicle improvements.
- Track, coordinate, and document technical issue resolutions from initiation to closure using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate with cross-functional product development, manufacturing, and supplier teams to support rapid issue containment and engineering solutions.
- Assist engineers in executing plant vehicle trials and validating product change implementations.
- Support hands-on vehicle troubleshooting, diagnostics, and inspection processes to uphold top-tier safety and build standards.
- Prepare data-driven visual reports and quality glidepaths to support technical reviews and team leadership decision-making.
What you´ll need:
- Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. Mechanical, Electronic,Data Science, Computer Science, Automotive design.
- 90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated interest in electric vehicles, data-driven problem solving, and product engineering.
- Proficiency with standard data analysis and productivity tools (intermediate/advanced Excel; familiarity with Jira, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate within cross-functional, global engineering teams.
