Our client, a dynamic and impactful non-governmental organization (NGO) startup, is seeking a highly motivated,
innovative, and results-driven Programs Lead to join their growing team.

As a Programs Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and sustainability of our client's initiatives by effectively managing programs.

This position requires a proactive individual with a passion for social impact, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight & Management:
● Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of diverse programs, ensuring alignment with the NGO's
mission and strategic goals.
● Monitor program progress, identify potential challenges, and develop effective solutions to ensure successful
delivery and measurable impact.
● Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
● Prepare comprehensive program reports for internal stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement:
● Serve as a primary point of contact for program partners and beneficiaries.
● Communicate the NGO's impact and needs effectively to a diverse audience.

Strategy & Growth:
● Contribute to the overall strategic planning of the organization, particularly in areas of program development.
● Stay abreast of trends in the NGO sector and program management best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, International Development, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Project Management, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience in program management or a related role, preferably within the
  • non-profit sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and
  • concisely.
  • Proven expertise in grant writing and securing funding through compelling proposals aligned with donor
  • goals while delivering program impact (required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with database management
  • systems for program data.
  • Experience in research, data collection and analysis to track program performance and improve outcomes.
  • Innovative, creative, and tech-savvy, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Access to constant electricity and a reliable internet connection.
  • Must have a personal laptop or desktop to perform tasks efficiently.

Benefits
Work Schedule: Hybrid

Salary: ₦160,000 monthly
