We are looking for a strategic, highly motivated, and technically fluent Director of Product Marketing to craft programs and assets that help our customers accelerate AI agent adoption. In this role, you will listen deeply to our customers to better understand their adoption hurdles and devise creative strategies to move them forward. You will work cross-functionally with product management, marketing, customer success, external partners, and other teams.
Responsibilities
At Salesforce, our Product Marketers craft sharp product messaging and positioning, go-to-market programs, campaigns, events, and sales enablement. Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content and activations that move people to act.
  • Become the AI agent adoption expert for stakeholders across product, marketing, and distribution for Agentforce Service
  • Develop effective internal and external facing adoption materials (demos, step-by-step guides, sales plays, competitive battle cards, FAQs, etc.), making it easy for audiences of all maturity levels to take the next steps in their agent adoption journeys
  • Design net new and integrate with existing events programs with added emphasis on getting customers hands-on with AI agents
  • Draft compelling customer stories with specific details on how the company overcame common adoption hurdles
  • Train account executives and solution engineers to not only deliver demos, but to also guide their customers through agent deployments
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Forward Deployed Engineers, Sales Programs, external Partners and other adoption focused teams to ensure programs are complementary and cohesive
  • Leverage your research and findings with customers to inform product messaging and narratives
Required Skills:.
  • 8+ years of Product Marketing, Solution Engineering, or technology implementation experience
  • Expertise in Salesforce products and/or other customer service AI agent products
  • Hands-on experience building a range of marketing assets, including sales enablement materials, pitch decks, demo videos, guides, and event content.
  • Ability to confidently pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguity
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making as well as a consistent track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics.
  • Outstanding organizational skills to define and balance multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively within a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with cross-functional teams and align with global stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience marketing or driving adoption of generative AI, autonomous agents, conversational AI, workflow automation, CRM, customer service, or platform technologies.
  • Experience creating demo environments, guided product experiences, technical workshops, or practitioner communities.
  • Knowledge of AI adoption barriers, responsible AI, trust, governance, change management, and organizational readiness.
  • Experience working with global system integrators, independent software vendors, agencies, and other channel partners.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $164,000 - $261,500 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
