Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist (Level 3) role to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on the F-35 program/ Fleet Readiness & Support Statement of Work .This position will be on-site in El Segundo, CA.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for the assessment of supply resources; aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements; plans inventory, distribution of requirements, and deliver Production and Spare (Sustainment) requirements identified by the shared work agreement in conjunction with NGC Statistical Dates (contractual) provided by NGC Contracts.

Includes managing in-bound parts from NGC Supply Chain directly related to LMA Outgoing Requirements, including supplier meetings, business system updates and part status. Perform Allocations for distribution through the NLDC including maintaining consolidation file with tracking information, Coordinate MOT Expedite (Air), Maintain performance metric, Support NLDC Status Meetings (Seko, DFW, Logistics, GM, Export Management), Support/manage special projects to achieve “Best Practice” recognition.

Activities to support this statement of work include but are not limited to: Interface with the Customer, Shortage Reporting, Shortage Meetings (Weekly), Perform Mock Shipper Tests (100%), Create and release Shippers, provide Part Tracking and Status Reporting, SCC Hub coordination, TMS alignment, EEL updates (where applicable), Chair Shipper Log Aging Meeting with internal suppliers. Perform TFE Reconciliation to ensure NRD/LOB Alignment and RPO Coverage. Perform to customer performance metrics: 1.) Performance to Contract (Primary); 2.) Performance to LMA Need Date; 3.) ECD Accuracy.

Basic Qualifications:

Level 3:

  • Must have Bachelor's degree with 6 years, Master's degree with 4 years or High School Diploma with 10 years of experience. Experience must be in the following: supply chain, project management, subcontracts, procurement, purchasing, contracts, finance, logistics, planning, or other GSC related field
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Business Management.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance in reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP or MRP systems
  • Business management, supply chain, MBA, or other relevant graduate education
  • Knowledge of EVMS (NG EVMS certification or equivalent preferred)
  • Experience in supplier negotiation

Salary Range: $88,700.00 - $133,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
