Must work on-site and support after-hours as needed.

Design, develop, and model mission‑critical ground software for space systems. Integrate mission‑planning workflows and operational constraints, debug and integrate large distributed systems, lead task management and mentor team members, and create modular, reusable software architectures while performing software design and modeling analysis.

Support corporate global business development by developing international country strategies, assessing markets, competitors, and partnerships, producing executive briefings, financial models, and data-driven analysis. Lead refactoring of monolithic codebases into domain-driven microservices, design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerize and deploy services to Kubernetes, write automation scripts, manage core infrastructure services, and troubleshoot networking to ensure reliable deployments and scaling.

Lead a software engineering team to refactor monolithic C#/.NET systems into microservices. Develop full-stack applications (Blazor/UI frameworks), implement backend APIs (REST/gRPC), manage core infrastructure services, troubleshoot networking issues, participate in Agile ceremonies, mentor developers, and promote DevOps and software engineering best practices.

Lead design, analysis, test, and qualification of liquid and fluid-thermal propulsion systems for missile applications. Provide technical leadership to suppliers, develop and execute test and verification plans, build and maintain performance and thermal models, support flight and ground operations, manage risk and integration, and communicate technical recommendations to management and customers.

Manage and lead a team (~15) of Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) Responsible Design Engineers supporting space vehicle integration, test, and launch. Provide technical leadership, staffing, resource planning, design oversight (3D CAD, structural analysis, GD&T), fabrication/vendor support, and mentor staff. Oversee test campaign execution, readiness, and cross-discipline collaboration while ensuring schedule alignment and risk mitigation.

Set up and operate 3–5 axis CNC machines to machine parts to specification, perform in-process and final inspections, maintain equipment, train others, follow complex setups and tolerance requirements, and support lean manufacturing in a 100% onsite aerospace production environment.

Support design, deployment, configuration, and security of lab and test-station infrastructures. Administer virtualization and host systems, implement cyber networking and automation tools, run HITL testing and avionics integration, document test procedures, and collaborate across teams. On-site work with potential shift/weekend schedules and occasional travel (~10%).

Perform systems engineering for the Payload Re-entry System: requirements analysis and verification, MBSE/modeling, test planning, system integration, lifecycle support, BOE development, and interfacing with USAF and suppliers. Support design, simulation, performance analysis, and verification across mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems.

Lead supply chain strategy and execution for one or multiple programs. Accountable for material planning, procurement, supplier performance, risk mitigation, forecasting, cost and schedule performance, earned value management, and executive reporting. Oversee proposal evaluation, subcontract negotiation, and integration of subcontractor financials into program plans.

Lead regional manufacturing and operations integration across Space Sector Western sites. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (manufacturing, test, facilities, EHS, mission assurance, supply chain, engineering) to align governance, drive digital transformation, apply best practices, and deliver program execution excellence. Manage teams, stakeholder engagement, and operational performance to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

Develop and schedule proposals by compiling cost, schedule, and technical data. Perform cost estimating, pricing analysis, and develop cost models (PCAR). Coordinate cross-functional contributors, support audits and fact-finding, participate in should-cost and pricing reviews, and assist contract negotiations. Present findings to management and customers, ensure supplier quotes meet requirements, and use spreadsheet/data-mining skills to analyze historical data for proposal development.

Develop and maintain program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS); decompose scope with control account managers; identify dependencies and critical paths; analyze schedule impacts and estimate to complete; produce status reports, identify risks to schedule achievability, and ensure compliance with EVMS guidelines while supporting program management, engineering, operations, and business teams.
