The Role
As a Principal Consultant in our Events Business Consulting practice, you will help customers bring treatments to patients faster by transforming how they work with Technology, Data, and AI. You will focus on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring tangible business value.
 
Events are highly regulated, strategic interactions like Speaker Programs, Advisory Boards, and Congresses that offer a depth of engagement unmatched by digital touchpoints. Our Business Consultants help identify and optimize bottlenecks across the entire event lifecycle to establish a scalable and compliant operating model. By shifting the focus from operational checklists to strategic execution, we integrate events into the end-to-end commercial journey to drive meaningful HCP relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Project Mastery: Act as the Lead for Veeva BC’s largest and most complex global projects, maintaining full accountability for excellence across multiple teams
  • Strategic Growth: Lead and own Business Development for Events Business Consulting, focusing on architecting and winning key deals exceeding $1M+
  • People Leadership: Manage and mentor high-performing consulting teams, taking responsibility for the professional growth and delivery standards of the practice
  • Thought Leadership: Develop and champion industry-leading thought leadership in Events-led HCP engagement to keep Veeva at the cutting edge of Life Sciences
  • Customer Success: Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders, leveraging Veeva’s data and software to solve their most critical challenges

Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of Life Sciences Consulting experience (Management Consulting preferred)
  • Track Record: Proven ability to win and deliver $1M+ consulting engagements
  • Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in HCP engagement strategy, HCP educational programs, commercial operations and a comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences landscape
  • Leadership: Extensive experience managing multiple project teams and senior-level customer relationships
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Veeva products
  • Experience delivering SaaS or Tech-enabled consulting solutions

The Process

    Our process is different than most. It is designed to be fast, efficient and respectful. Here are the steps:

  • You submit your resume, short cover letter of questions, and take a personality assessment
  • Within 5-10 business days, we will notify you via email if we would like to go to the next step or not
  • The next step is a 45-minute interview with a leader of the practice, followed by a job history interview and case exercise. You will have one week to prepare for the case exercise
  • Within one week after the case exercise, we will give you an offer or let you know that we do not wish to move forward

Compensation

  • Base pay: $120,000 - $250,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
