Role Summary
The Pricing Associate Director is responsible for defining and executing pricing strategy for CCH® Tagetik, Wolters Kluwer’s enterprise CPM platform – reporting to the Head of Business Strategy & GTM. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and scalable monetization across software, analytics, and services. The Pricing Associate Director partners closely with GTM, Product, Finance, and Sales leadership to embed best-in-class pricing practices across the full product lifecycle and complex enterprise deal environments. The work will have direct influence on revenue growth, pricing quality, and margin expansion, monetizing AI-capabilities and enable best-in-class pricing capabilities across a global enterprise software business.
In addition, the role is in charge of the Commercial Support team, which works closely with Sales representatives to support deals across the full lifecycle — including pricing, deal analysis, contracting, signature, deal closing, and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Pricing Strategy & Monetization
Define and execute pricing strategy aligned with GTM and product priorities.
Update pricing models and price levels for new capabilities (e.g., AI, modules, add-ons).
Periodically fine-tune packaging, bundling, and monetization design.
Play a key role in using pricing as a key lever for migration of clients from on-prem to cloud.
Advanced Pricing Analytics & Insights
Develop financial models, elasticity analyses, and scenario plans.
Analyze usage, deal, and market data to inform pricing decisions.
Assess willingness-to-pay and competitive positioning.
Track pricing performance and drive continuous optimization.
Commercial Execution & Deal Support
Support complex enterprise deals with pricing guidance and structuring.
Optimize deal economics at customer P&L level.
Balance acquisition vs. retention strategies across segments.
Enable Sales teams with discounting and pricing frameworks.
Commercial Support Team Leadership
Lead the Commercial Support team in partnering closely with Sales on deal execution
Support deals end-to-end including pricing, deal analysis, contracting, signature, deal closing, and delivery handover
Ensure high-quality deal support, consistency, and alignment with pricing and commercial strategy
Improve deal efficiency, execution quality, and commercial outcomes across regions
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success.
Influence senior stakeholders on pricing and monetization decisions.
Align pricing strategy with product roadmap and value realization.
Pricing Operations & Governance
Improve pricing processes, governance, and policy enforcement.

Exposure to consulting, corporate strategy, or pricing transformation roles.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
