Duties & Responsibilities:
- Generate parts sales through inbound customer interactions via phone, email, and walk-in traffic
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through order close
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new sales opportunities
- Recommend parts purchasing, stocking, and sales solutions aligned with customer needs
- Ensure showroom and parts areas are properly stocked, priced, and presentable
- Coordinate closely with Service department to support parts needs for service and repair work
- Assist with product stocking, organization, freight handling and staging as needed
- Participate in vendor and product training to maintain current product knowledge
- Maintain working knowledge of product specifications, features, benefits, and applications
- Ensure pricing and margin expectations align with corporate objectives while meeting customer requirements
- Resolve customer questions, or issues, escalating when appropriate
- Maintain accurate sales activity, customer records, and order details in CRM and internal systems
- Participate in parts sales meetings and contribute to team sales goals
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or up to 3 years' of relevant work experience. Could also have a different combination such as any level degree/certification beyond HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year experience; or 5 years' equivalent experience in lieu of a diploma/GED.
- Minimum of 2 year of sales experience; transportation, fleet, or parts industry experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customer and internal partners
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to balance customer satisfaction with margin and profitability expectations
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Experience in sales, negotiations, marketing, and problem resolution preferred
USD 17.40 - 26.15 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $17.40 - $26.15/hour. The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $0.01.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
