About this opportunity:
As part of the Ericsson team, you'll play an integral role as an Integration Engineer working with our clients across enterprise systems, networks, and nodes. As a data-driven professional, you'll focus on preparing, implementing and executing test cases to verify the configuration and integration, upgrades, migrations and expansions of a node/network/system. Additionally, you'll be responsible for adhering to global and local Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (E+OHS), data security, privacy protocols, and other group, legal and financial directives.
What you will do:- Assist in pre-sales processes with analytics, defining and proposing solutions and strategies for integration, ensuring an efficient commercial engagement.- Define integration strategy in line with contracts to provide optimum customer value.- Direct scope and quality, estimate costs and time, and plan activities.- Prepare, collect and validate scripts and configurations before execution.- Initiate and execute test cases, perform troubleshooting, take corrective actions or escalate issues in order to maintain the quality of service delivery.- Conduct integration and migration tasks complying with process framework and contractual commitments.- Guarantee that operating systems, hardware, software, licenses and configuration data are available in the correct format or version.- Define and manage exit criteria and prepare handover documentation.- Drive changes to process and methods related to integration activities to boost delivery efficiency and quality.
The skills you bring:- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.- Solid experience (typically 5+ years) in telecom/network integration or implementation, preferably with radio/access and transport/IP solutions.- Strong technical understanding of:
Mobile access networks (2G/3G/4G/5G RAN concepts).
Transport/IP networking (routing, switching, MPLS, VPN, microwave).
Network protocols (IP, VLAN, routing protocols, synchronization, etc.).- Experience in system-level integration and verification in telecom environments.- Hands-on experience with network management and monitoring tools, CLI, and relevant OSS/NMS platforms.- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, including root cause analysis for complex network issues.- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
