Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
KLA is looking for an experienced Motion Control Engineer to join us!
Main Responsibilities:
Lead Mechatronics systems Development and Improvement projects
Participate in Design and improve state of the art motion systems (XYT sub microns high G stages / Active dumping Floatation systems / Air&Ball bearings high precision motors...)
Design and improve existing Motion control loop
Multiple sources large data analysis for evaluating system performance
Coach junior team members
Perform and Support Assembling/Integrating/Testing for Motion systems, Motion test benches
Lead FA (Failure Analysis) investigations and Field System failure Escalations
Product Lifecycle management and ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) lead
Update\write procedures in English
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Motion Control / Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering)
Advanced degree in Motion Control – an advantage
At least 3 years of experience in Mechatronics and/or Motion Control
Programming skills in one or more of the following: MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, C
Strong knowledge of motion control systems and electrical machines
Knowledge of optics – an advantage
Project leadership and project management capabilities
Ability to train, mentor, and support other engineers

Skills Required
- Master's Level Degree and 5 years of work experience or Bachelor's Level Degree and 5 years in Motion control field.
- Programming capabilities in MATLAB, Python, LabView, or C.
- Knowledge of control & electrical machines.
- Project lead and Project management abilities.
- Proven Training abilities.
