We're looking for a Revenue Marketing Manager in Japan for the Health division of Wolters Kluwer. The Revenue Marketing Manager is responsible for collaborating with Health International country leaders, functional marketing colleagues, customer success leads, and sales teams to support the execution of the Go-to-Market strategy for the Japan market. As a market expert, they will develop and implement high-impact marketing plans focused on building awareness and reputation, generating high-quality opportunities, driving customer retention, and supporting channel partners. This position requires advanced knowledge in monitoring marketing automation tools and digital channels. This role will report to the Revenue Marketing Director APAC, Health International.
This is a Permanent Full-Time position (Hybrid flexible work arrangement).
About the role
- Collaborate closely with Japan country leaders and global marketing teams to develop and execute quarterly and annual marketing plans for Japan, ensuring alignment with global strategy and local sales objectives.
- Develop and execute multi-touch digital marketing campaigns across the buyer’s journey to grow and engage audiences; acquire and convert leads across multiple channels.
- Localize global campaigns and content, including translation and cultural adaptation, working with local vendors, agencies, and internal teams.
- Ensure successful execution of marketing plans on time and within budget.
- Create, monitor, and report on pipeline and performance using CRM and marketing analytics tools, identifying risks and recommending actions.
- Drive Account-Based Marketing programs in collaboration with Japan sales teams and the global ABM team.
- Support product launch planning and execution for Japan in partnership with product marketing.
- Develop thought leadership programs with PR, media, and event partners to build awareness and credibility.
- Support customer retention initiatives, including strategic accounts and customer storytelling.
- Support channel partner marketing programs in Japan, tracking MDF usage, pipeline contribution, and marketing-assisted wins.
About you
- 5+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience within international or matrixed organizations, with demonstrated ownership of end‑to‑end marketing programs and measurable contribution to pipeline, revenue, and business outcomes.
- Proven experience leading integrated marketing strategies across digital channels (marketing automation, email, paid media, webinars) and field / experiential marketing (industry events, executive briefings, customer forums, and roadshows).
- Strong commercial mindset with a solid understanding of the buyer journey, demand funnel, and account‑based marketing, and the ability to translate business objectives into clear, executable marketing plans.
- Highly analytical, with hands‑on experience using data and performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness, optimize investment, and inform recommendations (e.g., pipeline contribution, conversion rates, ROI).
- Experience working closely with sales leadership, customer success, product marketing, and global teams, acting as a senior individual contributor and trusted partner who can influence without authority.
- Demonstrated success localizing global strategies for the Japan market, with a strong understanding of Japanese business culture, decision‑making dynamics, and the importance of quality, trust, and long‑term relationships.
- Able to operate comfortably at both strategic and executional levels—from annual planning and prioritization to hands‑on campaign delivery and agency/vendor management.
- Strong planning, project management, and stakeholder‑management skills, with a proven ability to manage complex initiatives, multiple timelines, and competing priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strategic, thoughtful communicator with the ability to clearly articulate plans, performance, and insights to local and global stakeholders in Japanese and English.
- Self‑directed, resilient, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and confidence navigating change in a fast‑paced, international environment.
