Position Overview
Reporting to the Japan Marketing Director and operating in a hybrid capacity, the Account Based Marketing (ABM) Manager is responsible for driving new business acquisition through targeted account-based marketing strategies in Japan.This role focuses on new business acquisition, working closely with sales to identify, prioritize, and engage high-value accounts. You will lead the development and execution of integrated ABM programs, aligning Autodesk’s solutions with customer business outcomes.
The Account Based Marketing Manager will work in a role to drive our Account based marketing activities across the selected accounts. You will manage a range of our programs targeted at engaging main members within the account clusters through micro events, content marketing, digital marketing with sales to meet the objectives set out for the customers. The Marketing Manager partners with our Japan sales team, regional ABM, field marketing, partner marketing and Comms teams to roll out marketing initiatives aligned to sales priorities and revenue targets. The ABM Manager Japan is excellent collaborator among team members. You will have experience developing our account-based marketing plans that cater to the needs of the Japanese customers. You will have great experience with analytics, measurement and Return on investment are crucial.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute account-based marketing strategies focused on new customer acquisition
Design and implement integrated marketing programs across digital, events, content, and partner channels
Drive alignment between Marketing and Sales to ensure pipeline generation and revenue impact from ABM programs
Manage and optimize ABM campaign performance, including engagement metrics, pipeline contribution, and ROI
Leverage marketing automation, AI and data tools to personalize engagement at scale
Continuously improve ABM tactics through data-driven insights and experimentation
Collaboration and Interface
Strong collaboration skills with Sales and experience in Sales-Marketing alignment models
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Brand, Digital, Partner Marketing, and Industry Marketing to deliver cohesive campaigns
Collaborate with other Account-based Marketers, Partner Marketers, Marketing Operations partners to ensure programmatic execution of personalized campaigns to targeted accounts, and 1: few account-based marketing tactics
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in high-tech or software industries
Hands-on experience in Account Based Marketing, demand generation, or enterprise marketing
Experience working in matrixed and cross-functional organizations
Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing metrics and optimize performance
Experience creating personalized content and campaigns targeting specific personas and accounts
Fluent in Japanese and Business-level fluency in English
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-changing, ambiguous environment, with a strong sense of ownership to independently make decisions and drive initiatives end-to-end
Knowledge of the Architecture Engineering and Construction & Manufacturing industry is a strong advantage
Estimated 20% travel required
