AlertMedia is looking for a Customer Advocacy Intern to support our Customer Advocacy Manager by driving forward strategic projects that showcase our happiest customers. Your work will ensure our customer quotes, logos, and review content are up to date and accurately represented across channels. You’ll also help power our annual virtual Customer Advisory Board event and support ad-hoc advocacy initiatives.

Are you a detail-oriented student who loves organization, project management, and helping marketing teams shine? Join AlertMedia as a Customer Advocacy Intern and support key initiatives that bring our customers’ voices to life across a wide variety of channels..
What you get to do every day:
Logo & Quote Management:
- Track and maintain a record of customer logos and quotes used across our website and marketing materials.
- Help ensure customer usage aligns with brand guidelines and legal approvals.
Event Support:
- Research and recommend virtual event vendors for our annual virtual Customer Advisory Board event and other events as needed.
Third-Party Review Management:
- Draft thoughtful, professional responses to customer reviews on platforms like G2 and Gartner Peer Insights for internal review and posting.
- Build and maintain a second half of the year calendar for ongoing review campaigns and outreach.
- Develop a process for identifying and sharing review-based awards with Marketing to keep assets up to date.
Miscellaneous Projects:
- Support ongoing advocacy initiatives and assist the Customer Advocacy Manager on ad-hoc projects such as content audits, tracking customer participation, and compiling success metrics.
What you bring to the role:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar field
- Detail oriented, with a strong commitment to excellent, mistake-free work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools or willingness to learn (e.g., Salesforce)
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
- Highly organized project manager, adept at prioritizing and managing competing deadlines
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and eagerness to learn quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
