Team Overview
The Business Intelligence team delivers trusted, scalable, and actionable insights that enable data-driven decision-making across TransUnion Mexico and the broader LATAM region. The team supports business growth and operational effectiveness by providing reporting, analytics, and intelligence solutions that help stakeholders monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement. This role is dedicated to supporting TransUnion Mexico and LATAM and is part of the Business Intelligence organization, reporting to the Manager II, Data Asset Management. As business priorities and organizational needs evolve, the reporting structure may change; however, the role’s core mission of providing high-quality business intelligence and analytical support for Mexico and LATAM will remain unchanged. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
The Consultant is a member of the Business Intelligence team, providing dedicated analytics and reporting support for TransUnion Mexico and the broader LATAM region. This role is responsible for delivering scalable business intelligence solutions that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions, improve operational performance, and drive business growth. The position combines technical development, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end project execution, with a strong focus on Salesforce-driven reporting and analytics.
- Partner with business stakeholders across Mexico and LATAM to understand objectives, define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high-impact analytics solutions.
- Translate business questions and reporting needs into scalable, user-focused dashboards, reports, and analytical products that support decision-making.
- Identify, acquire, and evaluate data sources required to support reporting, performance measurement, and business insights.
- Design, transform, integrate, and validate data from multiple sources to create trusted and reusable analytical datasets.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes, semantic models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, and Salesforce reporting capabilities.
- Lead the end-to-end solution lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, user enablement, and continuous improvement.
- Apply data governance, quality assurance, documentation, and change management standards to ensure reliable and sustainable reporting solutions.
- Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences in English and Spanish.
- Support reporting and analytics initiatives across business functions, including Sales, Delivery & Implementation, Marketing, Billing & Revenue, Operational Support, and Forecasting.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- 5+ years of experience delivering business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions for internal business stakeholders, including significant experience with CRM analytics and Salesforce reporting environments.
- Advanced experience developing and supporting end-to-end data and reporting solutions, including data acquisition, transformation, validation, dashboard development, and ongoing solution optimization.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, data transformation, data quality, and reporting architecture principles required to build scalable and trusted analytical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise analytics and visualization platforms, including Alteryx for ETL and data preparation and Power BI (or comparable tools) for dashboard and report development.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and working in Agile or iterative delivery environments, including project planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery tracking.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and performance optimization.
- Advanced experience with Alteryx or comparable ETL and data preparation technologies.
- Advanced experience developing interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or an equivalent enterprise business intelligence platform.
- Experience working with Salesforce data models, objects, fields, and reporting capabilities; exposure to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Data Cloud is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Jira, and modern data platforms such as Google BigQuery or similar cloud-based analytics technologies.
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting business stakeholders and operations across Mexico and other Latin American markets.
- Experience with cloud data and analytics platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric, Salesforce Data Cloud, Tableau, or Domo.
- Experience supporting Sales Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Service or Case Analytics, revenue performance reporting, or forecasting initiatives.
- Experience creating reusable analytical datasets, governed metrics, and shared reporting assets that support multiple business functions.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish, with experience presenting insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholder audiences.

Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience planning, managing, and executing corporate, commercial, client-facing, or brand-building events
- Experience managing multiple complex projects, competing priorities, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
- Knowledge of event planning methodologies, project management principles, and operational best practices
- Experience collaborating with executive leadership, clients, vendors, agencies, and cross-functional teams
- Understanding of budget planning, vendor management, contract coordination, and resource allocation
- Ability to evaluate event performance, interpret results, and recommend improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Proficiency with event management and registration platforms
- Experience using project management tools
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to analyze event metrics, attendance reports, stakeholder feedback, and campaign results
- Experience managing event budgets, forecasts, and vendor documentation
- Experience supporting thought leadership, customer engagement, or B2B marketing initiatives
- Familiarity with digital and hybrid event formats
- Experience in financial services, credit, technology, information services, or highly regulated industries
- Knowledge of marketing automation, CRM platforms, or attendee engagement tools
- Advanced English proficiency with strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills
