The Opportunity

As an Analytics Manager working with our marketing and product operational teams, you will be instrumental in helping Sittercity achieve its mission to make child care finally work. You will join our analytics organization, which powers data-driven decision making throughout Sittercity. In this role, you will work closely with our business teams to shape strategy and drive growth at the company. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate business questions and provide teams with actionable insights that drive value
  • Maintain and augment our data model and Looker instance to enable company-wide data literacy
  • Communicate with executives and key stakeholders through presentations, well-designed data visualizations and interactive dashboards
  • Define testing frameworks and success criteria to quantify performance and inform strategy
  • Build unit-economic models for a subscription business including marketing attribution, retention, cohort forecasting, and customer segmentation
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve tracking within our applications, allowing for better visibility into customer behavior

Required Qualifications

  • Analytically minded, focused on the business implications of data
  • Experience presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational databases
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-4+ years of experience in a data-driven field (analytics, consulting, digital advertising, eCommerce etc.)

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with scripting languages that support data manipulation (Python preferred)
  • Experience creating data visualizations and interactive dashboards (Looker preferred)
  • Experience designing and measuring A/B tests in a product or marketing capacity
  • Experience using raw event data in analysis

Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures

The annual starting salary for this position is between $110,000 - $120,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Sittercity in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors. This position is also eligible for bonus awards.

Benefits:

The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and short-term disability insurance. Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 80 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
