Team Overview
The Financial Services team partners with banks, lenders, Fintech, and other financial institutions to help them improve business performance through data, analytics, identity, fraud, and risk solutions. The team is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding strategic client relationships, and delivering measurable business outcomes across the customer lifecycle. This role is part of TransUnion’s Mexico Sales organization and reports to the Banking & Financial Services Sales Leadership team under the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) for Mexico. This job is assigned as On-Site Essential and requires in- person work at an assigned TU office location as a condition of employment.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of the Banking, Lending, FinTech, and Financial Services industries to identify business challenges and position solutions that drive client growth and operational efficiency.
Build and maintain executive-level relationships with business leaders, risk leaders, lending teams, and key decision-makers across strategic financial institutions.
Generate new business opportunities and expand existing relationships by identifying client needs, quantifying business impact, and developing value-based commercial strategies.
Lead consultative sales engagements by conducting discovery sessions, understanding customer pain points, and aligning solutions to measurable business outcomes.
Manage a portfolio of strategic accounts while driving cross-sell, upsell, and new solution adoption initiatives that contribute to revenue growth.
Develop and execute account plans focused on increasing wallet share, strengthening customer partnerships, and accelerating pipeline conversion.
Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, and Client Success teams to support customer initiatives and ensure successful solution deployment.
Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities, accurately forecast revenue performance, and achieve assigned commercial targets.
Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, regulatory developments, and emerging market opportunities within the financial services ecosystem.
Serve as a trusted advisor by leveraging industry expertise in lending, risk, customer acquisition, identity, fraud, and portfolio management to help clients solve complex business challenges.
Required Knowledge and Experiences
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, providing the analytical and business foundation necessary to engage with financial institutions. Equivalent professional experience within banking, lending, or financial services will also be considered.
6-8+ years of experience in consultative sales, business development, strategic account management, or enterprise client management, with a proven track record of revenue growth and client relationship development.
Strong knowledge of banking operations, consumer lending, commercial lending, credit origination, underwriting, and credit risk management, enabling meaningful business discussions with financial services clients.
Experience working within or serving banks, financial institutions, fintechs, lenders, analytics organizations, or risk-focused environments, with the ability to understand customer business challenges and opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to identify business problems, evaluate their financial impact, and recommend solutions that improve acquisition, portfolio performance, risk management, collections, fraud prevention, and business profitability.
Required Technical Skills
Strong consultative selling, strategic account planning, and opportunity management capabilities.
Experience utilizing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms to manage pipelines, track opportunities, and forecast revenue performance.
Ability to conduct business discovery, financial analysis, and value-based solution positioning.
Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced English proficiency (B2-C1) with the ability to lead business discussions, presentations, and negotiations in English.
