The Group Legal Corporate & Transactions team supports LGT's management and Group companies with corporate law issues and projects, acquisitions and investments. The team also manages LGT's brand portfolio and contracts in the areas of IT and trading.
As Legal Counsel in the Group Legal Corporate & Transactions team, you will be responsible for the following tasks in particular:
- Review, creation, and revision of contracts and legal documents, primarily in the areas of capital market and securities law, but also in IT law and corporate law
- Assessment of ESG-related issues (e.g. ESG reporting obligations)
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, mainly in English
- Instruction and coordination of external lawyers
- Independent representation of Group Legal in projects
- Completed law studies and admission to the bar
- Initial professional experience, preferably in a law firm or a bank in the areas of contract law, capital market, and securities law
- High quality of work as well as reliable and independent work, commitment, resilience and ability to work in a team
- Very good knowledge of German and English (oral and written)
- Ability to quickly grasp and explain complex issues
- Convincing communication with internal and external contacts
