- Project Planning and Delivery: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives according to the agreed scope.
- Business Partnering between Compliance and IT: Act as a trusted sparring partner between the Compliance organization and IT, translating regulatory and business requirements into practical technology solutions. Facilitate close collaboration between both domains, challenge assumptions where appropriate, and help identify pragmatic and sustainable approaches to implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Competence Centers (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Investment Advisory), IT, and Senior Management. Build strong relationships and facilitate effective communication to align expectations and manage both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify project-related and operational risks that could impact delivery or business operations. Develop mitigation strategies, proactively manage issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize disruption.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track initiative progress against milestones and deliverables. Provide regular status updates and management reports, highlighting key achievements, risks, dependencies, and issues.
- Process Improvement: Analyse, challenge, and optimize existing processes to support LGT's strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous. Relevant certifications in Project Management methodologies are a plus.
- Several years of project management experience within the financial services sector or a related industry. Proven experience managing projects of varying size and complexity from initiation through delivery. Hands-on experience within the Compliance domain or in delivering Compliance-related initiatives is required. Experience with Agile methodologies and/or process optimization projects is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Strong sense of ownership, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, resilience, and persistence in achieving project objectives. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills. Ability to connect business and technology stakeholders within Compliance-related initiatives.
- High IT affinity with a strong interest in technology and digital solutions. Good understanding of Compliance systems, applications, and tooling, with the ability to act as a knowledgeable counterpart for both Compliance and IT stakeholders. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Project, JIRA, or similar collaboration and project management platforms is beneficial. Ability to quickly understand complex system landscapes, translate business requirements into IT-relevant concepts, and adapt to new technologies. Experience with Lean Management and/or Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
