As a Lead Product Manager for Wolters Kluwer, you’ll own a strategically critical product area within the Professional Audit workflow, part of a critical SaaS platform within the CCH Tax & Accounting portfolio. You are accountable for defining and executing the multi‑year strategy, managing a portfolio of investments, and ensuring sustained customer and business impact across your area.
This role operates at the intersection of strategy, technology, and outcomes. You will orchestrate multiple empowered product teams, align senior cross‑functional leaders, and raise the bar on product practices, technical decision‑making, and outcome rigor across your domain. You combine strong technical judgment with growing commercial ownership, helping shape business cases, inform pricing and packaging decisions, and drive adoption, retention, and expansion outcomes.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Incubate, sponsor, and scale new product offerings across the product area, from early 0‑1 exploration through adoption, expansion, and long‑term durability.
- Own and evolve the roadmap, long-term vision, and priorities for your team’s focus area.
- Establish clear definitions of success and OKRs, ensuring initiatives deliver sustained customer value and measurable business and customer outcomes.
- Make portfolio-level tradeoffs across customer value, technical sustainability, and commercial impact, balancing speed, quality, and long-term strategic value.
Execution & Delivery
- Translate strategy into clear problem statements, success metrics, stage‑gates, and delivery plans.
- Ensure consistent launch and change‑management practices across teams.
- Run area‑level planning, aligning capacity with Engineering leadership and managing dependencies across teams.
- Manage multiple simultaneous workstreams, deadlines and navigating competing priorities while staying focused on what drives the greatest impact.
- Drive operational excellence by feeding quality, incident learnings, and customer impact back into roadmap decisions.
Discovery & Decision-Making
- Deeply understand product performance through quantitative metrics and qualitative insights.
- Partner closely with design and research to deeply understand user problems, test assumptions early, and iterate toward elegant solutions
- Own segmentation and value propositions for your product area; support market sizing for major initiatives.
- Identify leading indicators, diagnose emerging issues, and guide decisions through data-informed analysis.
Business & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Apply a strong business mindset to decisions, understanding how Wolters Kluwer drives growth and revenue objectives.
- Partner with Go-To-Market stakeholders to enable successful outcomes and customer adoption.
- Own the commercial impact plan for your area, validating value realization with GTM partners.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and cross-function teams, articulating priorities, tradeoffs, risks, and impact.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on complex initiatives, guiding teams towards best practices and innovative solutions.
AI-First Product Development
- Identify and champion opportunities where AI can unlock improvements in user experience and efficiency, or workflow quality.
- Partner with Engineering to design and deliver responsible, effective, AI-enabled capabilities.
- Maintain a high level of curiosity about emerging AI technologies and how they can be applied to audit.

Compensation:
$107,500.00 - $188,400.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
