Your Impact
The Lead Analyst, Digital Category Optimization will lead internal and external research and/or benchmarking, lead the review and analysis of customer information and other relevant data, and guide the team in communicating insights and recommendations within their assigned area to leadership. The Lead Analyst will track, analyze, report and lead final key performance metrics to ensure activities within their assigned area are meeting strategic and financial objectives. The Lead will actively create action plans and delegate to address key opportunity areas. This role will serve as a member of a team of peers and be expected to help coach and develop/lead less experienced analysts.

What You Will Do
- Manage the digital experience strategy for assigned merchandising division (MDV) ($100M-$400M annually), in partnership with the category manager, through the aggregation of insights, competitive intelligence and data-driven recommendations
- Produce weekly insights and present to key partners by following up on the status of cross-functional deliverables, discussing strategic updates, and partnering with online and core merchandising teams
- Present insights and recommendations to cross-functional leaders from director level to VP to guide future digital strategies for Lowes.com
- Lead or partner with the digital category optimization leadership team on the creation of strategic calendars for MDVs for the upcoming fiscal year and share with cross-functional teams so they can use the data when creating their calendars
- Partner across the digital commerce organization, working closely with leadership at the director and senior director levels to drive technological developments that will enhance their respective MDV experience on Lowes.com
- Guide analysts to analyze and leverage customer data, site behaviors, pre/post-transaction data and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities to improve the omnichannel customer experience, including identifying opportunities to improve taxonomy, purchase path (search and navigation), digital content, search engine optimization and post-transaction results. Lead data analysis on own when needed or to support the project or team.
- Lead analysts towards successful project completion (6-10 projects) to deliver goals and partner with the manager to best address developmental and/or coaching opportunities along the way
- Provide tactical support specific to in season opportunities to react to near-term business trends and drivers
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 6 - 7 years of relevant experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in ecommerce, omnichannel merchandising or marketing, and/or brand or product management
Preferred Skills/Education
- 2-3 years of experience using data analytics tools
