RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Tasks and Deliverables
Consultancy and Configuration
- Provide support to existing clients including report generation at critical times of the year
- Advise and assist the client in maintaining and enhancing their application
- Configure the system as per the defined requirements using the system user interface
- Work with technical teams to resolve system and configuration issues
- Attend customer meetings and calls as and when required in support of larger implementation project, ensuring a professional image at all times
- Provide status updates, highlight risks and issues to supervisor (within the project and/or people manager)
Dedicated Consultancy:
- Advise and assist the client in maintaining and enhancing their application
- Serve as the main point of contact for key customers
Technical Configuration:
- Build and maintain custom forms using JavaScript, XML/SQL build scripts
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills Required/Desired:
- Experience: Minimum commercial experience of 2 years. Experience in software implementation and / or support, a plus.
- Strong academic background in a relevant discipline e.g. computer science, engineering, sustainability or equivalent also a plus.
Education: The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent.
Required skills, knowledge and characteristics based on responsibilities:
- A high level of numeracy
- Strong working knowledge of Excel required
- Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
- Familiarity with web-based applications
- Ability to learn new software applications rapidly
- Effective communicator with good interpersonal skills as this is a customer-facing role
- Previous experience working in teams for project delivery, a plus
- Previous experience in a customer facing role within a private sector company environment, a plus
- Experience in the field of Sustainability (both management and reporting), Supply Chain, or Environmental Health and Safety is a distinct advantage.
Technical Configuration:
- Experience with relational databases and use of SQL
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and XML are ideal
