The Role

We are looking for a Junior Content Capture Analyst to join our Content Capture Delivery team. In this role, you will support the conversion of PDF regulatory documents into accurate, well-structured HTML for publishing, contributing to BAU operations and quality improvement initiatives. Working alongside senior analysts and QA specialists, you will leverage AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and help the team deliver consistently high-quality output on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their technical career who is eager to work with modern conversion technologies, build practical skills in HTML, CSS, C#, and .NET, and grow within a dynamic, collaborative team.

What You'll Do

Task Management & Communication

● Review and prioritise tasks based on project requirements and deadlines.

● Attend daily stand-up meetings to share progress, challenges, and next steps.

● Analyse and refine technical requirements received from team leaders.

● Maintain up-to-date task boards and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Internal Build Dashboards).

● Prepare daily work summaries and plan for upcoming meetings.

Conversion, Development & Implementation

● Convert PDF documents — including scanned and OCR-generated content — into clean, semantic, well-structured HTML, preserving content accuracy, formatting, and document structure.

● Analyse and convert complex document elements such as tables, images, lists, footnotes, and multi-column layouts into HTML.

● Identify and resolve OCR-related errors, formatting inconsistencies, and content extraction issues.

● Work on assigned coding tasks using HTML, CSS, .NET, C#, and JavaScript.

● Implement book-structuring solutions in line with project specifications.

● Ensure HTML output complies with project standards, accessibility guidelines, and publishing requirements.

● Debug and resolve conversion issues, software defects, and performance problems.

● Integrate and utilise AI-driven solutions to improve conversion efficiency wherever applicable.

Testing & Documentation

● Conduct testing to validate book structure alignment and HTML output accuracy against project requirements.

● Perform quality assurance checks to ensure converted HTML accurately reflects the source PDF.

● Document conversion changes, methodologies, development approaches, and testing outcomes for future reference.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

● Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior analysts.

● Work closely with the QA team to address bugs, validate conversion quality, and refine application performance.

● Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate content structuring and adherence to publishing standards.

● Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions and training to enhance technical skills and stay aligned with industry best practices.

● Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in handling complex PDF-to-HTML conversion tasks across multiple languages, including OCR and non-OCR content.

Essential Skills & Experience

● 6 months – 1 year of relevant experience in a technical content, publishing, or software role.

● Practical knowledge of HTML and CSS for structured document output.

● Foundational experience with C# and .NET.

● Familiarity with JavaScript.

● Understanding of PDF-to-HTML conversion processes and content structuring.

● Experience handling documents of varying complexity, including multilingual, OCR, and non-OCR content.

● Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver within agreed timelines.

● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

What To Expect In Your First 6 Months?

You will be paired with a Senior Analyst buddy who will guide you through onboarding, helping you learn the existing PDF-to-HTML conversion process, tools, and quality standards. You will initially work on tasks matched to your experience level, gradually taking on greater complexity as your confidence grows. By the six-month mark, you will be expected to handle conversions independently, meet page-conversion targets, and actively use AI-driven tools to improve your productivity.
