Manager/Managing Consultant - Services Business Development (Sri Lanka and Maldives)
Overview:
Mastercard has an analytics and consulting division called Mastercard Services. They provide market and business level insights to Issuing & Acquiring Banks, Merchants and Government. The breadth of services span across Strategy, Digital, AI, Marketing, Analytics, Fraud and Risk Management.
The Managing Consultant / Manager, Services Business Development is part of the South Asia Business Development team. As a key team member, the person will be responsible for customer engagement at Senior Management level and for driving Services Business Development in the Sri Lanka and Maldives market. The person will also be involved in review of projects delivered by project delivery team.
Role• Managing the Sales Process• Engage with country account management teams and internal teams to assess client needs and translate into a services proposal• Preparation of sales presentations for clients• Lead pitches from storyboarding and engage through face-to-face / virtual interactions• Manage the sales process from first discussions to contract signed• Oversee project delivery and participate in key meetings to ensure successful completion over and above what was promised to clients• Ensuring continuous and expanded follow-on work• Build relationship and become trusted advisors with senior/executive level clients in the Sri Lanka and Maldives market• Provide regular updates on sales and revenue tracking to leadership
All About You• Consulting experience from a top-rated consulting firm or Payments / cards experience with a Bank or Merchant; experience helping large institutions at the executive leadership level will be desirable • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills• Excellent analytic skills• Demonstrates the ability to initiate, develop, and close a sale• Ability to work on a team or independently• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment• Ability to think from the perspective of the customer• Highest level of self-motivation with a hunting-attitude• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills• Proficiency in written and verbal English• Bachelor's and post-graduate degrees (MBA or other) from leading universities
