• Job Overview:
As an IT Operations Analyst, you will support the availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of technology platforms used by P&G’s business. With guidance from experienced colleagues, you will collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and platform service provider teams to support incidents, requests, problems, and changes across a diverse technology environment.
This role offers hands-on exposure to business intelligence, big data, transactional systems, automation systems, web applications, and other critical services. You will build foundational cloud and IT operations skills by assisting with resource provisioning, monitoring, documentation, process improvement, and automation activities.
• Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily IT operations, including incident, request, problem, and change management activities while learning established ITIL processes.
- Monitor and provide first-level support for infrastructure and platform environments, with guidance from experienced team members.
- Participate in incident triage, escalation, and troubleshooting by following documented procedures and applying structured problem-solving techniques.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and service provider teams to gather information and support issue resolution.
- Maintain technical procedures and knowledge database articles to improve first-level resolution and self-service capabilities.
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement, standardization, monitoring, and automation.
- Support basic scripting, reporting, testing, and proof-of-concept activities in line with individual skills and development goals.
- Complete technical training and apply new knowledge to day-to-day operational assignments.
Job Qualifications
• Hard Skills:
- Foundational knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, networking, databases, or software development.
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes or IT service management practices.
- Familiarity with Windows or Linux administration, networking concepts, databases, or virtualized environments.
- Basic programming or scripting skills for automation and process improvement.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or another cloud platform.
- Familiarity with monitoring, provisioning, remediation, or automation tools.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
