On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role
requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of human resource functions in the
FMCG sector. The HR Officer will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations,
employee relations, recruitment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal
requirements. The ideal candidate should have hands-on HR experience in the FMCG industry,
as well as strong interpersonal skills to manage employee engagement and foster a positive
workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the full recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and
hiring for various positions within the FMCG sector.
- Conduct effective onboarding for new employees, ensuring smooth integration
into the company culture and operational processes.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, addressing
workplace issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and resolve any employee relations issues,
ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the implementation and tracking of performance appraisal systems,
supporting managers in evaluating employee performance and setting goals.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance skills and productivity
across departments.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Support payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate employee payments.
- Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance,
retirement plans, and other perks.
Compliance & Legal Requirements:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and industry
regulations, ensuring all HR documentation is properly maintained.
- Assist with any legal or compliance audits, addressing any discrepancies or
concerns as required.
HR Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, and prepare regular HR
reports on key metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and performance.
- Document and track employee leave requests, disciplinary actions, and
performance reviews.
Employee Engagement & Welfare:
- Organize employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, wellness
programs, and recognition initiatives.
- Foster a work environment that promotes employee well-being and job
satisfaction.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of hands-on HR experience within the FMCG sector.
- FMCG Experience: Proven HR experience within the FMCG industry, with knowledge
of the specific HR challenges and dynamics in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR practices, including recruitment,
performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of
interacting effectively with employees at all levels.
- Problem Solving: Ability to address HR issues with tact and discretion, ensuring
effective solutions and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple
HR responsibilities efficiently.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in managing employee records, payroll
processing, and compliance documentation.
- HR Software Proficiency: Familiarity with HR management software and tools (e.g.,
HRIS, payroll systems, performance management systems).
- Labor Law Knowledge: A strong understanding of labor laws specific to the FMCG
sector and the ability to apply them in practice.
- Multilingual Skills: Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage, especially if
your workforce is diverse.
Skills Required
