Job Description:
The Head of Digital & Media is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing global digital media strategy at scale. This individual will lead a large, highly specialized team and oversee complex, high-impact digital marketing programs, ensuring operational excellence, data-driven decision-making, and measurable business outcomes.
This role operates at the intersection of media strategy, analytics, campaign execution, and digital operations, requiring both strategic leadership and deep functional expertise.
We will consider candidates in the United States (Hybrid work preferred hub locations include San Jose, Houston, and New York)
Key Responsibilities
Lead Global Digital & Media Strategy
- Define and execute global media and digital strategy aligned with broader marketing and demand generation objectives
- Translate campaign strategy into scalable media plans and execution frameworks
Oversee Large-Scale Digital Programs
- Manage digital marketing initiatives across multiple channels, including social, programmatic, search, and web
- Ensure effective optimization of campaigns, customer journeys, and channel performance
Drive Data-Driven Decision Making
- Leverage large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights and improve performance
- Partner closely with analytics teams to measure impact and continuously refine strategy
Manage Significant Budget and Investment
- Own and optimize a large global digital media budget
- Ensure efficient allocation of spend across channels and campaigns to maximize ROI
Lead a High-Performing Organization
- Lead and develop a global team of professionals across digital strategy, media, ad operations, and technology
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
Oversee Complex Digital Ecosystem
- Manage end-to-end digital execution at scale, including assets, tracking, and campaign infrastructure
- Ensure seamless coordination across digital platforms, tools, and technologies
Collaborate Across Stakeholders
- Partner closely with campaign strategy, analytics, field marketing, product marketing, and content teams
- Act as a key representative of digital and media strategy in cross-functional forums
Ensure Operational Excellence
- Drive precision in execution across high-volume, high-complexity digital programs
- Implement best practices for governance, performance tracking, and optimization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; advanced degrees or certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in digital marketing and media
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams
- Deep expertise in: Media strategy and channel strategy; Campaign management and optimization; Digital customer journeys and web experience
- Experience managing large-scale digital programs and budgets
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into insights and action
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence in a highly matrixed, global organization
- Experience managing complex digital ecosystems with multiple stakeholders and channels
